Marmot Basin skiing

Situated in the northern Canadian Rockies, Marmot Basin enjoys dry, fluffy snowfall that’s a dream for beginners and experts alike. More than 160 inches of natural snow blankets the area from November through May. What Mother Nature doesn’t deliver, Marmot Basin’s state-of-the-art snow-making system makes up for, ensuring skiers and snowboarders enjoy superb snow conditions all season long.

Skiers and riders have a range of terrain options from green to black diamonds on the resort’s four mountains. Marmot Basin offers everything from gentle novice-friendly runs to ultra-long groomers and high-alpine bowls, treed runs, and powdery, steep chutes. The seven modern lifts make getting around a cinch and you’ll never have to wait on a lift line. Marmot Basin enjoys few crowds.

When it’s time to take a break from skiing, Marmot Basin offers guests three lodges, one located at the base area and two in the mid-mountain area.
